Welcome to our site.
It has been a year in the making and it feels great that we are finally up and running. Edger is a Center for Inquiry student initiative aimed at advancing secularism, atheism, science, and humanism to a youthful and exuberant audience. Our writing styles blend into a fusion of hard-hitting reporting, rational commentary, and funny blogging. On top of this, we post videos and images that reflect our eclectic writing style. So we invite you to have a look around the site. Keep in mind that we just launched, so feel free, and we hope even slightly obliged, to comment on posts and share them with others. Here are some editor’s picks to get you started:
-
How to criticize the “New Atheists:” a seven-step guide to writing the perfect reactionary hissy-fit
-
Why should the Catholic League condemn the threats against Cook and Myers?
-

Thank you, and enjoy.
Our 1000th Comment
Sunday, September 21st, 2008I’m please to announce Edger has reached and surpassed the 1000 comment milestone. While, in all honestly, this is a rather arbitrary milestone, I felt like I had to report it.
Our 1000th comment was from commenter MPL and he/she commented on this post Video: CFI Skeptics Trounce 9/11 Truthers on Ontario’s “The Agenda” .
Thanks to all who are commenting and contributing to Edger!
