Tyler Handley is a recent honours graduate in Communications and Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. He is specifically interested in the application of philosophy towards living a fulfilling life, and the intersection between human rights and social media. After founding the Laurier Freethought Alliance, a campus club dedicated to promoting and practicing freedom of inquiry, Tyler went on to take the role of VP of Multimedia for the Freethought Association of Canada and a summer intern position at the Center for Inquiry Transnational in Amherst, New York. In the summer of 2008, while working at CFI, he co-founded Edger, the world’s first newsblog dedicated to promoting freedom of thought. He also co-founded, co-hosts, and produces the Point of Inquiry podcasts’ sister podcast The Course of Reason.
