This was just too hilarious to pass up. First there was Bibleman, the fundamentalist Christian superhero. Now meet Ultimate Christian Wrestling, the fundamentalist Christian wrestling federation.

Seriously though – I may not be any connoisseur of wrestling, but these people are pretty good; they even have the chairs-and-ladders-being-used-as-weapons thing down:

Now all we need is a fake plot with a powerful and amoral wrestling industry mogul to turn this into a man-drama.

ew…faux-wrestling is already lame, they just made it even lamer. What I don’t understand is why they would start a fight with a ladder in the corner of the ring. Also, why are they both writhing on the floor like that in the end!?

Why do fundies need to have everything in a “christian” version? (Music, wrestling, countries, etc.)

Why do all of these things have no value without Jesus?

1. Defending civil liberties like freedoms of speech, inquiry, information, religion or lack thereof, and association
2. Opposing misinformation, pseudoscience, and quackery
3. Commenting on the intersection of religion with politics, science, human rights, and academia
4. Discussing media misinformation and reform, environmental defense, and human rights.
5., Defending and supporting the continued growth of the Internet as a central enabler of idea and information sharing, social organization, advocacy and political participation. Relevant issues include net neutrality, the social impact of the Net and various programs (e.g., the blogosphere, social networking and news aggregator applications, search engines), and means of enhancing netroots advocacy.
5. Contribute significantly to the expansion, coordination and social/political import and impact of humanism and freethought.
Factonista is about putting people before ideas, reason before superstition, and evidence before faith.
