We should get rid of "In g-d We Trust" on our monies. If the government could add it in 1954, then that means we can take it off NOW too. Having "In g-d we trust" doesn't tell people you're a religious people, it just tell people you're ignorant of other religions. Besides, putting that on the money doesn't make it more useful, but rather makes it more heavier than it should be, even putting it on the edges will not work, like the gold dollar coins. Not EVERYONE believes in g-d, and this nation wasn't BUILT on the notion that this should be a CHRISTIAN nation!!! GET OVER IT. TELL ME WHERE IT IS: It's not in the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence which says "This nation is based on Christianity". There's more people who believe in other religions or are Atheists in the U.S. Ignorant Christians will call all non-Abrahamic religious people "Atheists" which is SOOOO.... WRONG!!! FYI, there's Buddhists, Sikhs, Taoists, etc....

Great news for you! Jesus hated religion, too! He solved that problem when he (only One was required) died on the cross. Jesus came to save the religious and those who are not. He believes in RELATIONSHIP, not religion. It's the ceremony, the measurements, the judgments that we place on each other that is wrong. Religion is man-made and you're right it is evil. The end of religion will not come by genocide. The end of religion comes when people make the God-given choice to know Him. The best way to combat religion is to have a personal relationship with the Savior - the One who died to save us from religion and from so much more.

"In God We trust" should remain on our money. It is not hurting or offending anyone. For those of us who still believe God should be in the center of our lives, "In God We trust" is a good thing. Everyone who believes that God should be removed, from everything, that we hold dear, is given the priority. It is time to listen to the rest of us.

I believe that "in God we trust" is an important issue right now. God created each one of us. Whether you believe that or not does not change the truth. Truth is absolute. It cannot be changed by whether or not you believe it or not. God did not just create us and drop us off on a planet. He loves and cares for each one of us. His love is far reaching and unchanging. His love is not determined how we feel about Him or if we reject Him. Our nation was based on God and fundamental truths. It is sad to me to hear how people do not feel this issue is relevant. You do not find it relevant because you do not know of Gods love. You reject the idea of God because you do not choose to allow Him to be a part of your life. Take a moment and ask God to reveal Himself to you and wait. Don't expect the sky to burst into flames , but if you seek Him - He Will answer. I believe that "in God we trust" should not be taken off our currency because I believe in a God that is unsurpassing in his mercy, gracious to forgive, and desires a relationship with every person he has created.

It's never too late to be saved by Jesus Christ. Just call on him, believe he went to the Cross to die for you, and you can be saved. To the athiests who think there is no one bigger or better or smarter than they are...remember, you still have a chance for redemption. One day we will all kneel down at the judgment seat, and you will know better by then.

Why not remove "in god we trust"?
Seems our government is removing it for us. First we okay abortion, then we allow certain states to allow an individual to legally commit suicide and now we are in favor of embryonic stem cell research and cloning. Why worry about some words on a dollar or coin - it's meaningless.
God left our country some time ago , we threw him out.
